ABOUT...
In an attempt to blend my magical and mundane worlds together, I decided to re-vamp my spices. I had spices and herbs i only used for magical purposes and others just for cooking... and then some for both. I was getting tired of the separation.... so i did something about it. I don't have any spice mixes to offer at this time. This page is devoted to getting you started to adding a little magick to your herbs/spice rack and having it entice you to add a little "something else" to your meals and your magical workings. I hope you enjoy this idea. There is a PDF file below to print off a set of labels to use. Simply print off onto regular paper, write in your information
WHAT TO DO...
YOU WILL NEED: plain white printer paper, a pen or fine tip marker, and clear packaging tape... plus empty and clean spices containers.
WARNINGS:
* DO EACH BOTTLE INDIVIDUALLY, SO THAT YOU DO NOT MIX UP YOUR HERBS/SPICES. IF YOU KEEP YOUR NON-EDIBLE HERBS WITH YOUR COOKING HERBS... BESURE TO ADD A BRIGHT STICKER TO THE LABEL OR COVER SO THAT IT WILL BE NOTICED AND NOT ACCIDENTALLY GRABBED. (i keep catnip as part of my spices, i don't cook with it, rarely use it in tea... but i use it in baths and for occupying my underfoot familiar.)
* PDF LABELS WILL NOT FIT ALL JARS. They are 4" long by 2" in height. 10 labels per sheet.
NOTES: After printing off the PDF file (see below), write in the name of the spice or herb going into the container. Use a little bit of packing tape to secure the label into place. (just a small piece on either end will work and makes it easy to lift and move if you feel the label is not on straight). Then use the packing tape to seal the label all the way around the bottle. be sure that you have about a 1/4 -1/2 each border of tape on the top and bottom of the label. The packaging tape helps to keep the bottles clean (just wipe clean) and so that if you happen to have wet or soiled hands you don't ruin the label... click the image below to download the PDF label file...

SOME SUGGESTIONS:
* I keep SEA SALT and BLACK PEPPER as my basic. A dash for just about every dish i make.
* MRS DASH the salt free original blend with this written in the 'purpose' area: "For Protection and Health and Everything Else."
* SUGAR when you need to add a little sweetness in life
* CHILI POWDER to add a little spice to life
* CAT NIP for the familiar underfoot

Magickal Mix-ins Label
Print off onto plain printer paper - cut out and attach to bottle with a small amount of tape on the corners - then take some packaging tape to cover the entire label and then some (this will keep the label from being ruined if it gets wet) - make sure you have sealed it, even the tinest bubble can ruin a label ...click the image below to download the PDF file...
